We love seeing how our clients make their homes their own – and this custom built home from our Translation project in Murrayville, Langely, is no exception. Would you believe that not a single room in this house is staged? Neither could we, but it turns out our clients just have great taste - in home décor AND custom home builders!
From the start, our home owners had a true vision for their new custom built home and through our Constant Consultation Program, we were able to make it come to life.
In the kitchen they chose a bright white color scheme featuring custom built shaker cabinets that extend to the ceiling and Caesarstone quartz counter-tops.
Keeping in theme, the back-splash is classic subway tile with an elegant diagonal offset above the stove. They also included coffee nook with storage for additional glassware and a wine fridge.
Like many of our custom built homes, this one features a “great room” – a combination kitchen-dining-living room, allowing for a very natural flow between spaces. This floor plan creates superb sight lines between areas and lets in lots of light through the numerous windows.
By painting the living room area a beautiful navy blue, they are were able to keep the spaces feeling somewhat separate, while maintaining the open floor plan.
Upstairs, our clients took every opportunity to maximize their living space, including a cute TV nook on the landing or mezzanine.
The master bedroom opens to a spacious ensuite featuring custom built ‘his and hers’ vanities and a soaker tub. Using our in-house customization studio, the home owners selected finishes for the master suite that create a serene and relaxing atmosphere.
As you move to the back yard, this custom built home just keeps getting better. With an in-ground pool, an outdoor fireplace, and large patio this home is perfect for entertaining in the summer months.
